When it comes to doing hair extensions, there are a few different routes you can take. Below I am going to compare installing Individual hair extensions vs Weft hair extensions. In both methods, you will be using beads to secure the hair.
When working with Individual hair extensions to add length, you should be aware of the high risk of them turning out piecey and not as natural.
The photo to the left is a great example of how piecey they can look.
The hair on the right shows how dense Weft extensions appear.

Another reason I prefer Beaded Weft Extensions is because sometimes Individual extensions growing out can move around so much, that they cause a dread or twist. You can see in the photo, it's a mess and can damage the hair.

When Weft extensions grow out, they don't have the freedom to move around as much. This makes them grow out smooth and uniform.
